Owner and founder, Matt Reid, was looking for wood furniture to furnish his own home but found it challenging to find high quality items at a reasonable price. He started building his own furniture instead. Shortly after he learned BC Parks was looking for help building picnic tables and took a chance, applied for and got the bid. Ennadai Woodworks was born!

Initially started in Kelowna, BC the company continued to grow and after a couple of years more space was required and Ennadai was relocated to Golden, BC in 2017 where it continues to grow today. While we initially began with furniture we have since expanded to timberframing— building not only our own shop, but several local homes in addition.

Not only is our founder, Matt Reid is an avid athlete— a cyclist and former member of the Canadian National Ski Mountaineering team— but many of our employees are current or former elite athletes (mountain biking, ski mountaineering, nordic skiing) and a passion for the recovery needs of high-performance athletes and individuals runs deep in our company culture. This passion is what prompted us to develop the sauna line to help fill this need.
